The Ministry of Digital Transformation, SSSCIP, SE "Diia", and the National Bank of Ukraine, with the support of EU4DigitalUA, participated in the 8th Trust Services Forum in Berlin, organized by ENISA. The participants discussed the interim results of their cooperation with European partners and integration into the European trust services environment.
At the forum, European Commission representatives highlighted Ukraine's progress in implementing the eIDAS Regulation and its participation in the development of the EU Digital ID Wallet.
The forum recognized Ukraine's progress toward integration into the single European space. Joint developments with Ukraine were presented, which will simplify the technological recognition of advanced electronic signatures in the EU. While currently in the testing phase as a project, these solutions may be implemented in the near future.
The discussion also covered the joint work between the European Commission and Ukraine in the field of electronic identification. Specifically, the results of deploying an eIDAS node to ensure the interoperability of electronic identification with the eIDAS infrastructure were presented.
Additionally, meetings were held with international experts from EU4DigitalUA, who are involved in drafting Bill No. 6173 and preparing the Ukrainian conformity assessment body.
