The Verkhovna Rada has supported bill No. 6241 "On the National Informatization Program." 287 deputies voted in favor, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

This bill will enable the implementation of digital technologies in public administration. This will significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of government agencies and local self-government bodies. For instance, Ukrainians will be able to receive essential public services much faster.

The bill will also help bridge the digital divide in society, as everyone in the country should have the opportunity to use technology for their own development.

Inequality will be reduced by increasing public access to technology and various opportunities, particularly in the economic, social, cultural, and educational sectors.

Furthermore, the bill aims to enhance cyber defense and information security, and to accelerate Ukraine's integration into the global information space.

These changes will ensure an appropriate level of implementation for informatization, digitalization, and e-government projects.
